Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using MarketLive, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be at least 13 years old to use MarketLive.

2. Description of Service

MarketLive is a peer-to-peer marketplace platform that connects buyers and sellers of goods and services. MarketLive acts solely as an intermediary — we do not buy, sell, or guarantee any listing, transaction, or service offered on the platform.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when registering
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
You may not create accounts for fraudulent or deceptive purposes
One account per person — multiple accounts are not permitted
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account

4. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You may not use MarketLive to:

Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
Sell illegal items, controlled substances, or stolen goods
Harass, threaten, or harm other users
Post content that is sexually explicit, violent, or hateful
Impersonate other users or MarketLive staff
Use automated tools to scrape or manipulate the platform
Violate any applicable local, state, federal, or international law

5. Transactions Between Users

Important: MarketLive is a connection platform only. All transactions occur directly between buyers and sellers. MarketLive is not a party to any transaction and assumes no responsibility for the quality, safety, legality, or availability of any listed item or service.

Users are solely responsible for:

Verifying the identity and legitimacy of the other party
Inspecting items before completing payment
Meeting in safe, public locations for in-person transactions
Resolving any disputes directly with the other party

6. Payments and MarketCoins

Subscription payments are processed by Apple App Store or Stripe. MarketCoins are virtual currency with no cash value and cannot be refunded once purchased. MarketLive reserves the right to modify coin pricing at any time.

7. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you post on MarketLive. By posting content, you grant MarketLive a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MarketLive's liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid MarketLive in the 12 months prior to the claim, or (b) $100 USD. MarketLive is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MarketLive, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of the platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Dispute Resolution — Binding Arbitration

Please read carefully: Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of MarketLive will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, not in court. You waive your right to a jury trial and your right to participate in a class action lawsuit.

Arbitration will be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in the state of Alabama, under the laws of the State of Alabama.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Termination

MarketLive may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
